Ice Cream for Dummies! (step by step)

Are you a dummie cook? Do you like Ice Cream?
If the answer for both questions is "YES!", you are reading the right blog!
First of all I want to apologize to those readers who are trying to be on a diet...

Last spring I asked Clumbsy Cookie for an Ice Cream recipe, and as she knows I´m very lazy, she told me the easiest recipe she knew...the problem is that the recipe is very easy and the ice creams are yummy!..I think that´s the reason because I´m putting on...

You can select the flavour but I strongly recomend you to try the chocolate one!

ICE CREAM FOR DUMMIES
  • 375 gr (13.5 oz) condensed milk
  • 400 ml cream
  • 250 gr (9 oz) chocolate (or 400 gr (14.4 oz) crushed fruits)
And now you only have to mix all the ingredients.

Suggestion 1: melt the chocolate before you mix it with cream and condesed milk...(just a suggestion)
Suggestion 2: grate some chocolate for the appearance...

step 1: put the cream in a bowl
(...you can whip the cream but It´s not neccesary...)

step 2: melt chocolate

step 3: add condensed milk

step 4: mix

step 5: stop mixing

step 6: add grated chocolate and freeze
(you can clean the table in order not to be a dirty man like me)

...life can be wonderful...

Hi everybody again!

I´m back! and I hope I´m going to be able to post more often than before!
I have a million of reasons to excuse myself for not having updated my blog before, but the main one is that I´m a bit lazy and I haven´t cooked any recipes from Clumbsycookie....yes I know I have had a lot of time but that´s the way I am...

Right at this moment, you (who are an intelligent person and have read my excuses) are thinking that I have updated the blog because I have cooked something new.....but you are wrong!
I´ve said I´m a bit lazy but I haven´t said before that I´m a bit cheeky!

It´s my blog and I can write about whatever I want and I have decided to write about why the life can be wonderful...(I know it´s sounds a bit ambitious but it´s just an excuse to show you some photos!)

I think one of our main source of happiness are our friends.

Let´s talk about friends!

If you have friends, you can discover new places, and that means that you can see different markets...

...you can find different spices...

...you can find different nuts and dried fruits...

...and you can also find olives and lemons...

...and of course that means that you can enjoy new meals...

For breakfast...

...I can´t remember the name of these...but I can remeber they were delicious...

For lunchtime...

...couscous with vegetables...

..."pastela" with chicken and vegetables...

...meat "tajin" with plums&sesame and more couscous...

For dinner...

...haven´t you realized yet that me and my friend love couscous?...

...spicy kefta...

...fresh tomatoes with goat cheese and fish "tajin"...

I think one of the best things of travelling is that you can discover new flavours and new ideas for cooking! The main rule is "You don´t know if you don´t like something until you taste it!"

Another great thing about friends is that you can visit them and they can visit you, and that moments are always great!

On september I´ve visited "Clumbsycookie girl" with who I always have fun and of course I always eat a lot and very well. Her recipes look great but you can´t imagine their flavours...I´m really sorry if you (dear reader) haven´t taste any of her wonderful recipes...

It´s a great experience cook with her and even better chat with her while you are eating!
Amazing cook and amazing girl...
(Only for "Clumbsycookie girl": I hope you have read the previous sentences, and I hope you´ll send me some lasagna as reward :) )

And now some photos of my visit:

...weird place, isn´t it?...

...cookies, cookies, cookies...
...what do you expect of visiting a girl whose name contains the word cookie...

...mmmmm...you can´t imagine what we eat those coffees with...

That´s all folks!

And remember...life can be wonderful!

Oreomisu (eikooC ysbmulC Style!)

Do you remember this?

I can´t forget that day...since then I have dreamt every night with Oreomisu...

If you haven´t read that post in http://clumbsycookie.blogspot.com/, you should visit it now!
I think Oreomisu It´s a good option for being my first clumbsycookie recipe, because It´s sweet, good-looking and very easy to cook!

OREOMISU (without vanilla extract)
  • 6 oreo cookies
  • 2 tbsp mascarpone cheese
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1+1/2 tsp icing sugar (vanilla flavour)

"Break apart the oreo cookies and scrape the filling to a bowl and set aside the wafers. To the oreo fillings add the mascarpone and 1 tsp of icing sugar (vanilla flavour) and mix well with a small wisk. Mix the milk and 1/2 tsp of icing sugar (vanilla flavour) and make crumbs out of 2 wafers (you can do this with your fingers or press them with the bottom of a glass or roling pin).

In small serving plates arrange alternatively the chocolate wafers dipped in the milk and the mascarpone cream. Start with a wafer and use 5 for each oreomisu, finish with mascarpone cream. Top with the wafer crumbs and refrigerate"

Before refrigerating Oremisu, It looks like this:

....mmmm...I can´t wait to cool it...

And after refrigerating it, I obtanined this:

...two better than one...

...I think I´m going to start gaining weight...

I know clumbsy´s looks better and I´m sure that hers was yummy but mine was yummy too!!

Please, try this at home!
